Testimonial Snapshot #1

From:  Chris, Leesburg, VA

Snapshot:  Have you ever found yourself asking what a particular bible verse means, in a practical sense? That is the situation I recently discovered clarity on after waiting, and then finally seeking with simple heart. I wanted to know what it really means to pick up my cross each day – what did that look like?  Matthew 16:24-26. After many months of on-again / off-again devotion to seeking the answer – it just came to me. It was when I decided and committed myself to follow the calling Christ had put on my heart, and remained focused on that very thing – not for my own good, but all for his good and glory. Each day is a day of surrender to self. Each day I get to serve the will of our Father. Each day is alive and refreshing, despite the world screaming otherwise. Now I know, and for that, I am better off. Thank you, Jesus, for your goodness and patience!

Scriptural Reference:  Matthew 16:24-26 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Who might Benefit:  Anyone who is seeking a revelation to scripture and what it means in their life.

What does the Christian Flag represent:  The Flag of Surrender
